Ppp my children go to their fathers once a week for 1 night, his partner who he lives with has flown of the handle and its been physical violence between them. A few months ago for the 2nd time she was violent towards their father in front of my children. The police were involved amd childrens services phoned and questioned me as what my next steps were to prevent this happening again and to protect my children. I agreed wirj them and their father that he could still have contact as long as he took them to his house and she wasnt to visit.. (they live separate but he stays 6 days a week at hers) anyway he agreed and 8 weeks down the line he tried to say it was nothing and she should see them. I told him of he went behind my back then i would stop contact. Low and behold this last visit she was there the whole time. Ive now stopped contact and phoned the childrens services team to imform them. Have i done the right thing as i dont know where i stand legally if he ever took me to court?
