My stepson received his birthday/christmas cards from his mum today and for the 3rd year running she has got him nothing for either. He is gutted bless him but trying to put a brave face on. Now, I want to tell him that his mum is a no good waste of space who thinks of nobody but herself but 1 I would never do that as I know it would hurt him and 2 I think he’s figured that out on his own anyway.
I need help to know what I can say to him to make him feel better without sugar coating it as he’s too old for that.
