Ppp-please no bashing

I have a five week old son, and haven’t left him at all yet. My friends are planning a camping in the next couple of weeks but I’m still to scared to leave him. He would be left with y step mum who i trust completely but i just feel like a bad mum even considering leaving him so early. He also wakes up about two-three times a night… Not sure what I’m looking for really just some advice and way to help me go and not just sit their and worry about him 😑

  • The first time I left my son he was 2 days old. We were staying at my mums for the first week and I came back home to get the house sorted ready for bringing him home. I did cry for ages at the thought of leaving him but now he goes to my mums every weekend and he’s 7 months old. He will go to any member of my family and any of my friends. He loves being around my nephews and nieces. Do it when you are ready. It is hard at first but once you do it and realise that they are fine then it does get easier xxx

  • If you don’t want to leave him then don’t 😊 hes still very young, I’m sure your friends will understand if you decide not to go and there will be more opportunities to go camping etc some other time 😊 xx

  • Don’t pressure yourself hun. My son is 7 this year and I have never left him with my parents for more than half an hour. Only time he stays out is when he’s with his dad
