We currently private rent and handed out notice in long story short we had coming around with landlord to view the house sometimes 3 times a day on the condition the landlord said once it was let there would be no more viewings any how the house is let and the ppl move in here in 4 weeks time once we hand the keys back we did ask if it was left could we leave early he did agree them he said no as the new ppl are not moving in until after the date we move out!
Move forward two weeks we keep getting messages saying they are bringing the new tenants around again to look around as the requested too we have told the landlord no we are busy packing up and have a family and both working full time and asked him to make any appointments with the new tenants for the day we hand our keys back so they can see the house empty ect so today we got a message saying they are bringing the new tenants at 4pm tomorrow am going to text back and say no and again tell him to make the appointment when we move as they already been round and the website says the house is let am sick of him We enough to do am i within my rights to do this thank you

The house has been let already we have let him have full access to do these and he told us once the house was let there would be no more viewings however he now saying that the new tenants which are moving in after we move out want to come around again and look over the house again
I private rent and i said no viewings until we move the landlord can come with notice but you are still in contract so you dont have to let him bring in people he can only come round to check the property or carry out repairs.
It will say in your contract what notice he is obliged to give you to come round and for showing round new tenants when you give your notice. So long as he follows what that says then you have to allow him access as you have signed to say that you agree to do that.
Have you checked your contract? Most have things on their about tenant viewings and I think in most cases you’ll find with notice he can call at the house at any given time.
Best thing to do is phone an estate agents – any will do. They know the rules so can advise you much better x
You’re in the 28 day period of your tenancy ending, if I’ve read it correctly. So that means as long as he gives you a 24hr heads up there’s not really much you can do.
You need to find out from the hospital they are all different. Most allow 2 birthing partners some only 1.
I would call citizens advice to check
