My 12 year old daughter has a unibrow.
She has become very aware of her appearance recently and it is starting frustrating her. She keeps asking if we can do something about it.
She has asked me about threading and plucking but I know it will just upset her and she will want to leave half way through.
Her Grandparents have said just leave it, she is too young to worry about it, but I really dont want this to become an issue for her. Especially as she keeps mentioning it.

My daughter is 13 and we both go together to have our eyebrows threaded. It doesn’t hurt and only needs to be done every 4-6 weeks. My daughter has lovely natural shaped brows and they just do a tidy up – maybe go with her and have them done together? She is at “that” age now where they become conscious of how they look and other girls in Secondary school can be really bitchy x
Threading does not hurt and lasts a long time. I don’t usually worry about having mine plucked etc, but a friend wanted to try threading on me. It was 6 months ago and I can’t even see what’s grown back! I’m not saying it may be the same for you daughter, but it’s actually far less painful from what I gather. Poor thing. Help her out. I’ve only ever had mine threaded once and didn’t like it much prefer having em waxed it’s over in seconds, I’ve just had my eyebrows microbladed cos mine were non existent lol I’m going back tomorrow for the top up X
Me and my sister used to wax our legs and get our eyebrows done in primary school. Few seconds of pain is definitely worth it especially if she is asking for it. It’s better than being embarrassed at school. Just go and get it done together x
Iv had my wax sine i was 11 ones a moth every month mead me feel a lot better i dont wer a lot of make up but rhis is my must have thing lol i will be leting my durgther as soon as she aks for it i dont think its a big deal but makes a big different
My 12 year old was exactly the same..not a unibrow but conscious of her brows. I bit the bullet and took her in summer to have them tidied up..took seconds and she felt so much happier after xx
Just wax the middle off! I’ve been having my eyebrows waxed since about 12 but I think now 12 year olds would be much more aware of brows and make up etc than when I was 12 x
My 12 year old has hers waxed, she doesn’t have a unibrow but they were quite thick, she has asd and doesn’t take to new things but she had no problem whatsoever having them done X
Take her to get them done and ket her choose the way and explain it may hurt a bit .. if she’s conscious of them it’s time to let her have them done xx
I get mine threaded. Takes less than 5mins. If it’s done properly it’s pretty much pain free. It only tends to hurt if it’s done incorrectly.
I get mine waxed…the discomfort is minimal and doesn’t last very long and after a few times having it done it stops growing back xx
I found threading quite uncomfortable on my eyebrows – get them waxed… doesn’t hurt and it’s quicker so will be done and dusted! 🙂 x
i would let her try either waxing or threading. you don’t want to deny her having it done and then her trying to shave them or using cream on them herself. xxx
I would use hair removal cream or get them waxed, painless or short lived pain, no backing down once its on too lol
She’s 12, get them waxed, because she will only borrow a shaver and do it that way herself..
waxing eyebrows isn’t big deal tbh neither is shaving legs and arms.. Id be fine with it.
Get her to have them waxed the pain is seconds x
Why don’t you say to her that she could try the threading if she liked to but tell her that of may be uncomfortable for her & if she didn’t want it done again then she wouldn’t have to. She is 12 at the end of the day so if it was my child personally I would support her on what she wanted but I’d also after with the grandparents that she shouldn’t be worrying at all x

Take her for a wax it’s over and done with in seconds I had mine done when I was 11 xx
Let her try both and then she will know which one she prefers x

Waxing hurts less and is over in seconds
Threading does hurt n I would say it hurts worse than plucking I would probably try hair removal cream
