So I’ve gone to collect my son this afternoon from the childminders.
School informed her he had hurt his arm after lunch but had an ice pack and no other action taken.
She said he was in agony, couldn’t get through to me so called my husband who collected and took him to A&E where we found his elbow was dislocated!
So my poor baby had been sat at school all afternoon up until 7:30pm when he finally got seen at hospital with a dislocated arm! I’m absolutely livid!
I’ll be going into school first thing to have words with the head teacher!
He suffers with hypermobitlity so has a care plan at the school and an ambulance is to be called if he has no movement in his arm…and they completely missed it!
Kind of crapping myself about going on tomorrow so just wanted to see what other people thought and what point I need to get across to the school!
To top it off…they tried to withhold both my children last week and called the police on us because my son goes shooting with his dad at an air rifle range so they are quick to judge us but can’t provide simple safeguarding their end! Police brushed it off and said there was nothing wrong with it!
