Other day I was called a side at my sons pre-school for a chat. They told me they had found bruises on my sons arm. They looked like they had been done by someone grabbing his arm. I without even hesitation told them he’d had a massive tantrum yesterday and the only way to get him across the road was to hold I arm and make him walk over (I also had a pram) she said ok and that she knew what his temper was like and just to be more careful with him. However today I go to pick him and she informs me she has contacted social services about the bruising. This is after talking to me and taking my explanation. Has anyone had a referral to social services and what was done? I’m not worried more annoyed tbh as we had discussed it and she’d said it was fine. Thanks x

I would be fuming! However look at it this way….theres a good explanation. Just tell the social worker the truth and it will be sorted. Suppose better this way than kids who could be in harms way going unreported as has happened in the past, with sad ending 😣 i do feel for you though. Good luck. Chin up. ❤❤❤
