Not sure if anyone has been in the same situation butbhere goes.

My son is 2 on 8th October, I took him doctors a couple weeks ago because I notices he developed a flat spot on the back of his head and the top of his head was forever going bright red for no reason. Got told that it should correct itself but I had to make an appointment with the health visitor to do all his head measurements. Took him to see his health visitor she said the size of his head was perfectly fine and to closely watch his flat spot see if it got better or not she then went on to say about his soft spot which still has not closed and is about 2-3cm wide still she said she was concerned as it should be closed by 18 months old but certainly shouldn’t be as big as it is. Got told to book another doctors appointment which we have just come out of. The doctor said they are going to write to a paediatric doctor and get their advice. I’m so worried as I don’t k ow what the he’ll is going on or what the doctor is going to say. I guess I’m just after abit of advice or someone who has been in a similar situation and if anything has come of it ? Please no nasty comments and TIA
