So my nearly one year old has decided that at nap times and at night time he no longer wants to sleep in his bed. He will have his bottle and fall asleep on me then will stay in his bed for about half an hour before waking up. I think he is going through the separation anxiety stage, as he just wants to be near us all the time! We have tried putting one of our tshirts in his cot so he thinks we’re there but that doesn’t work. I also tried the controlled crying method lastnight but it’s too traumatic to continue. I can’t bear the thought of him crying himself to sleep. Any advice much appreciated!!!
