Advise please,my daughter is 13 nearly 14.7 years ago a child in her class was diagnosed with a life threatening illness devastating for the child’s family but also for our kids too,although the child has gone on to different surroundings the whole class has remained friends and the parents too,fund raising days out days together etc.
My daughters friend died at the weekend and the funeral is coming up and I’m wondering if I should take my daughter or not? Her whole class are going to be there and I have asked her if she would want to go and obviously it’s her friend and she wants to.Ive told her there will be prayers and it will be a celebration of his life but obviously people will be upset should I chat with her more or just let her find her own way?
