This Friday evening my little boy (2 and a half) will go for a weekend with his Daddy, and will also meet the ‘new woman’ for the first time. Except, she’s not new to me.. she’s the woman he was having an affair with from work, and the reason my little boy has lost his home, and his parents being together. How do you even begin to accept it? I’ve never felt pain like it, and the very thought makes me feel sick to my stomach.. what if he really takes to her? And then doesn’t want to come home
to me? Just the thought of her being around my son breaks me. How do you even begin to relinquish that control over the most precious thing in your universe… 💔
