Would like some advice please from bottle feeding mum’s.

My 6 week old little girl hardly keeps any of her milk down, literally after everyfeed it shoots right back out, there is loads of it? At first I thought it was normal and she was just a sicky baby? But now we are in hospital going through tests to see if there is any underlying cause, she was born tiny at 37 weeks, induced because of poor growth and now she is still struggling to gain. She is 5lb 4 currently and at this point should be 6lb 11 by now the health visitor said 😞 . Symptoms include constant crying for hours on end, she seems frustrated. projectile vomiting, its hard to get wind from her, she seems in pain even when she is taking her feed and is now starting to refuse feeds. I’m at my wits end up all night trying to sooth her, I’ve tried infacol thinking it could be colic but that hasn’t helped either, does anyone else have something similar and if so what do you do to calm your baby ?

  • Reflux, my son was exactly the same. Struggled to put weight on we were always up and down the hospital. He was diagnosed with reflux and given infant gaviscon but that didn’t work so he went on ranitidine, he’s like a completely different baby now and is back up to where he should be with his weight. Hope your little one is okay. Nothing worse than seeing your babies poorly 💔 x
