Advice please, sorry for long post.
I’ve a really good friend, we live in the same area and our daughters are close in age and get on really well.
We have different parenting styles I have rules in my house not crazy ones, I just expect manners, no lies, no shouting or hitting and generally do as you are told.
She has absolutely no rules her daughter is out of control, she slaps, punches, spits, screams and demands constantly, she is nearly 5. My friend gives her everything she asks for.
I’ve been trying to teach my child that you have to behave to get treats and that you cannot have everything you want.
I’m really struggling because her daughter is here everyday behaving like a complete brat and getting everything she demands.
I’ve tried explaining to mine that people won’t like you if you behave this way but at such a young all she cares about is that her friend gets everything.
I have tried saying it to my friend but I get no where she doesn’t see a problem. I really don’t want my daughter playing with hers due to her behaviour but I don’t want to loose my friend. Please help
