So I’m on maternity leave at the moment and am due in 2 weeks. Have just come down with a stinking cold and I’m not sleeping at the moment either so generally feel like shit. So my partner asks me to do some food, you know, which is fine but he comes home from work just to find me on the sofa with the blanket. Then he’s like come on, get up, you’re doing food aren’t ya?
This has really pissed me off. Up until 2 weeks ago when I broke up from work I was working 50 hr weeks, doing all the cooking and cleaning and everything else. I don’t get help with anything and no one ever think to make me some food or bring me a drink or something.
Is it just me that’d be pissed off? He’s now gone upstairs for a sleep in a strop and refused to eat the food I had the decency to make despite his attitude. I just feel like all I’m good for is making food and clearing up after everyone
