Can I have a anonymous post plse.
I have a 14 yr old daughter who’s very anti smoking! I’ve just found out she’s been smoking and she was trying to get the courage to tell me! I didn’t fly off the handle (I normally do) I was calm and said I don’t like smoking I don’t want her smoking and if I see of it or hear of it there will be consequences! I informed her school because kids go down the woods at lunch and break and smoke! Her head of yr has decided to keep her in from break and dinner (I never suggested this) and she’s accusing me of asking for this to happen! Me and my daughter used to be so close and she’s becoming distant and angry! Dad is not in the picture and she’s due to see him and spend a few weeks with him! He’s due to marry while she’s there and she doesn’t want to go to the wedding but she knows this is the only way to see her dad! I’ve tried talking to her and getting her to open up and she just won’t! Has anybody been in a similar situation? People keep telling me it’s a phase but I’m not so sure! She’s never treated me like this before! I also know her choice of friends isn’t overly brilliant.
