Can I have a pp please?
So I took out a loan yesterday, I’m moving into a property that needs serious decorating needing doing to it. And I mean from top to bottom. Only reason I’m taking this flat as its ground floor and had a garden, so I’m currently living in a 1st floor with no garden. I went into my bank today, and was offered a credit card. To be fair I didnt think I’d be accepted for a loan as my credit rate is shocking. I bank with hsbc. The advisor told me having a credit card would help to boost my credit score and help in future with mortgages ect if I wanted one. Im stuck on what to do. I mean how does it work? I asked about charges and she said there were none. She said if I was to pay on credit card then just to pay it off straight away and there wouldn’t be any. Im not stupid with money and don’t spend just for the sake of it. But i just want to up my score, what would happen if one month I didn’t spend on it at all? I don’t know what I’m asking of this if im honest, but I just don’t know if it’s worth having one x
