Can I please have people’s advice
So my daughter is In year 3
So she is 7 year old
She got given homework yesterday which is as follows
We would like you’re child to learn counting up and back in 4s and 8s so obviously 4;8,12,16,18,20,24,28,32,36,40
And back etc
They have also asked for the child to write a rhyme or poem to help them remember these tables
Well I have sat there for 3 hours and tried my 14 year old very academic son has sat there currently for 2 hours trying to come up with something.
Do you agree this is rather hard for a 7 year old .??
Surely if it’s there homework should they not be capable of doing it without me spending hours doing it .
I feel they have set me homework not my daughter
Advice please no bashing
