Can I have a private post please. I’m 5 months pregnant and just lost my job 8 weeks before I was ment to go on mat leave. I’ve taken it further as the way they sacked me is unfair esp when they new I was planning my mat leave end of Aug. They never done my risk assessment untill last week. Which by law should of been done at 16 weeks. I do 12 hour shifts with no breaks. They know I’m pregnant and gave me more hours. I feel like they have come up with loads of crap to just get rid of me. Has anyone taken there company to court and won a case from discrimination towards pregnant woman? Or something similar? And does anyone know what I’ll be entitled to now I’m not working? As I called the number for government paid mat pay and they said it’s not 100 guarantee I’ll be accepted for it! Even know I’m entitled so scared I’m not gonna be able to cope with out it! Someone please tell me there’s a light at the end of the tunnel! Scared and frightened mum to be 😩😩😩
