Can i have a private post please.
My ex husband and I split up early last year, he left me for someone else. Things started brilliantly was seeing kids on regular basis, both co parenting well, then he moved abroad to live with then gf and saw kids twice in time he was gone, stopped paying maintenance and called initially once/twice a week then not unless they asked. They split up and he came back to uk but since hes been back and got employment hes still not regularly seeing them, he promises and lets them down and he still isnt paying maintainance in full. I have moved on and my bf is round everyday, does school runs with me etc, treats the kids like their his own. The kids have started to pick up on the fact their dad doesnt seem as interested as bf. How do i go about talking to the kids about this? My heart hurts for them to be going through this, my eldest 9 even asked why my bf couldnt be her dad. Ive always left the door open saying he could see them anytime. What more can i do?
