Right so, my maternity is due to end tomorrow and I am due to go back to work tomorrow part time 16 hrs a week (im 16 weeks preggo also so id be going on maternity agen in december). But my partner has been offered a new job to start in 2 weeks which is greatttttt money but the 2 days il be working he wont be able to have the kids if he takes this job sooooo il have to work for 2 weeks and then leave my job ready for him starting his. (Not paying childcare costs and no available family to watch my kids)
If i leave will i have to pay the maternity ive been paid, back? I get mixed answers on google which i dont trust and i didnt ever sign anything with my boss. Im sure i have a contract but ive never signed 1 in the 3 yrs ive worked there!!! Im shitting it incase i leave then i have to pay 8 month worth of maternity back? I cant afford that π
