Hello can I have a private post please,
Me and my ex partner split up a while ago, we have a 17month old boy together he very rarely used to pay anything for him I always brought everything for him recently we agreed on him paying £40 a week but everytime I ask him for it he tells me he’s not giving it to me to fund me going out or getting things for myself(which I don’t do very often) I then go on to tell him it is for his son and nothing else but he doesn’t want to know and he uses our son to play a game with me it breaks my heart he’s using our baby like this he tells me he will see him so I make and arrange plans out with friends for a couple hours then he turns round and says no he’s not having him anymore cause he doesn’t want me to go out he very rarely asks to see him and when he does see him it’s only for a hour / hour half max and I’ve tried organising times and dates for him to have him more regularly but he doesn’t want to know says he can’t which i know is a lie! anyone been in a similar situation on what to do as I don’t want my baby getting hurt by his dad and constantly letting him down but I wouldn’t want it to come back on me my son hating me if I don’t let him see his dad advice would be very helpful so stuck on what to do even if it involves legal action, tia x x
