5 years ago now I was in a very abusive relationship!! Long story short I run away with just my baby’s changing bag on my own with my 2 young children and started a new life ..my ex partner continued to find me no matter how many times I moved house ! After continued threats and stalking I contacted police and explained just a little of what happened to me and the children during the 3 year relationship which ended up in him getting a 10 year prison sentence.. anyway it has only been 3 years and is being allowed out early in a few weeks 😢 I’m panicking the first thing he is going to do is seek contact with the children ( simply just to get to me ) !! I have a restraining order currently getting put in place but I have. Wen told bye the school that as he is on the birth certificate they cannot stop him from collecting the children if he should find my whereabouts.. I remember due in the trial process a lady from women’s aid telling me that he will loose all parental responsibilitys due to the charges but I now need to no this for sure I need to make sure he can not come near my kids as he WILL harm them . I have called police social services and citizensadvise no 1 will tell me if he does or does not have parental rights how will I find out please if anyone has any advise ? Xx
