Hey can I have a post please, please no bashing!! We all have a past..bit of a long story but here it goes, when I was 15 I met up with some older men who believed I was 18, (stupid and dangerous i know, but its the past and I cant change it!!) anyway there was one guy who I spoke to online pretending to be 18 for a few months, before I told him the truth. He was the only one who knew I was only 15 (he was late 20s at the time) but we still continued to talk. We didn’t meet until I was 18 (joint decision!) when he took me out for a meal, treated me like a princess and ended up booking a hotel room….now 10 years on, I’m happily married and he’s busy living his life, we still talk every few months/years but don’t really talk talk if you know what I mean. This morning I have woken up to read in the paper that said guy has been stung by paedophile hunters after arranging to meet a fake 15 year old (hunters pretended to be a 15 year old girl) and he has been given a suspended prison sentence. Although I was an adult when we met, he used to speak to me online in a sexual way knowing I was only 15, but didn’t want to meet until after my 16th birthday (we put it off til I was 18 though) what do I do? Do I believe the papers, block him and forget about him? Do I believe the man I once knew and message him ensuring he’s ok? Or what? I’m so confused! X
