Hi can I have a private post please,
I’m just looking for some advice and opinions please,
I have just found out today that in September when my daughter returns to school ( going in to year 1 ) she will be going into a mixed year class of reception children, year 1s and year twos and I have been told by several other parents it will be the same throughout the whole school all mixed up classes,
I myself can’t understand how this will work with three different age groups/learning stages all learning together in one classroom, is this something that has changed across the nation and is now what is happening everywhere? I just can’t work out how this is supposed to work.
I am considering moving my daughter to a different school but I’m not sure if I’m just missing the point and it’s actually a good thing.
