Hi can i have a private post please. I’m looking for other people’s opinions on this. My partner and I don’t live together but we have a 10 week old baby. My partner has a dog which has American Pitt bull in it (banned breed) . This dog has never bitten anyone but has shown teeth etc. The dog came to my house when baby was newborn and kept on a lead. As soon as baby cried the dog was pulling desperately to get to the baby and he was making a high pitched noise. To me this isn’t safe! Ever since then the dog hasn’t been around baby as I feel it’s too much of a risk. Now my partner says the dog isn’t dangerous and will be fine around the baby and he wants me to allow the dog to be around. I suffer with PND and anxiety so this is really making me worse. I’ve been called stupid for not letting the dog around and unreasonable. What is everyone else’s views? I feel terrible
