Hi could I have a private post please.
I’m looking for some advice really. My 5 year old (soon to be six in a matter of weeks) has started telling little white lies. It’s becoming a constant thing now and I know to some people it won’t seem like a huge thing as he’s 5 and will eventually stop after I tell him how wrong it is etc… but to me it is a huge thing. I’ve tried talking to him about it but he just says he doesn’t know why he does it. I’ve shouted, I’ve put him in time out but he’s still not grasping the fact that it’s a really bad thing to do and he’s still doing it. I’m not really sure what else to doss I’ve never been in this situation before so I guess I’m just looking to speak to some people that I’ve had something similar with there little ones. I just really want to get it sorted before it turns into even bigger lies. Thanks for reading x
