Hiya can iv a private post please?
So my little boy is 7weeks old and is on SMA gold milk an for about a month hes had wind problems and his milk wont stay down.
The doctor give me Infant Gaviscon which didnt work at all. They then give me Carobel worked a wee bit then back down hill again. Last week they gave me Losec mups 10mg gastro-resistant tablets which i was told to only give him half the tablet, so i did. He turns down nearly every feed. If he even takes a feed he will boke it all back up screaming an bits of the tablet comes out which is wee black bits. The doctor said “dont come back for a month. This will work” I’m so confused. I really think i should stop giving him these tablets. I never had this with my first. Family an friends have told me to get the anti colic bottles, change his milk to sma stay down or change to aptamil reflux milk. Im so tired all the time as he is so unsettled during the day. He did used to be a really good baby but now he just crys murder its like hes in pain but theres nothing i can do. Just looking adivce from other mummies that have had any problems like this with there little ones. I dont want him being changed on more meds as its not good for his wee belly at such a young age.
