Any advice from someone in HR? I am really upset and angry with my manager. I have worked and trained in my job since the role was first set up almost 5 years ago. I am pregnant, I have felt discriminated in the past by my current manager. Zero problems with my last one. She also broke confidentiality by telling everyone I was pregnant before 12 weeks. HR brushed over it and I accepted nothing could be done. I want to go full time as I have worked part time for so long and finally my childcare costs are significantly reduced. Had a feeling she would go behind my back and how right I was upon finding my position up for full time employment up on NHS jobs. She never asked if I wanted full time hours despite being aware I did. Is this discrimination? Can I even do anything about this? I will apply without any prior notice and see what happens. My position is specialised so I can pretty much guarantee nobody else will be trained who applies. We train them. I am so angry right know. How funny my instinct told me to look this up!!! I cannot believe she didn’t tell me this.
