Am i being unreasonable or should i stick to my guns if it kicks off?
My stepdaughter had a puppy for her bday and her mums asked before if the puppy can come to ours when my step daugter comes……We’ve said no sorry cause our 2 year old dont like our own dog never mind anyone elses and our doggie is 16 years old and wouldnt cope with a puppy and hes also just lost his bro a few year ago and its aged him a little bless him so there the reasons weve said no and left it at that.
My partner has come home tonight and said his daughter is coming with the puppy this weekend as her mum is going away for the weekend and it cant be left on its own. (Even tho she has a older daughter at home) So my partner said ill have to ask my mum to have them both but ive got a feeling she will say no…..
I wont be very happy if he overides our “no it cant come” to “its coming cause her mums gone away”…surly they should of sorted this before assuming the puppys ok to come…….
I can just see it causing majour problems if his mum cant have them both. Its something every time step daughters here we always argue and fall out and its always my fault… were on splitting up terms as it is…..no ear bashing please i just want to know if im being unreasonable. tia x
