So have a huge dilemma, not baby related but could do with advice.
I know someone who is a single child. They’ve always craved family, now has a family of her own (husband and kids). But I recently found out that she has a half sister. (Her father had a daughter with someone else before meeting her mum). Her dad split up with the other girls’s mum on bad terms and never saw her again. I’m 99.9% sure she doesn’t know about this older half-sister.
Should I tell her?
I don’t feel that it’s my place, and I don’t want to cause arguments in her family by exposing this secret. But I also feel she needs and probably would want to know.
Do I tell her or not? 😩
