My boy has been ill for over a week now . took him to out of hours doctors on Sunday evening as he was really running on low . was told he has strep that had likely affected his kidneys ( potty trained but constantly wet him self and he never knew , he just couldnt control it ). Has been on antibitoics since Sunday evening a move even got up in the night to make sure he has a dose. Poor lads only 3 . he ate his first meal yesterday ( first one since last Thursday ) and has gradually started to drink a bit more now .
I no you are not doctors and he has to go back up later today as they have said 48 hours if he is not better he must go back . well he picked up yesterday for a few hours and then plummeted straight back down hill again . went to bed at 8 and is still asleep now . he did how ever get up to be sick but is back sleeping again
Question is … ? Has any ones children had strep?how did it effect them ? I’m at a loose end ( he hasent got tonsilitus with it ) xx
