Can I have a post please I’d like to keep annomynous
What are people’s opinions on telling your child they have a different surname to what they actually have, my partners children have started to say their last name is (their mothers,) when he says no it’s (his last name) they say it’s not their mummy said it’s (her last name) .. they were married and the children were born with his name, he has parental responsibility and loves seeing his children, so I know she’s not been able to actually change it, I just can’t believe she would do this as those children are going get so confused especially seen as the school addresses them with there actual last names, the mother hates the idea of him seeing his kids ( she wants him out of the kids life, even says our children are NOT her children’s siblings) we have no idea how to approach this and to who
