Hi, could I have a private post on the private chat please?
I have a family situation to try and solve. Long story short my sister has been slagging my partner off to people we know. I asked her to apologise and she said ‘well it’s true’
There is some truth into the reasons why she has the opinion she does, but it’s something me and my partner have discussed and working on… I asked her to apologise and instead she refused and told him exactly why she won’t apologise… She’s just making things worse, I don’t want my business aired in public and I don’t want my relationship under more strain because she feels the need to have an opinion.
However on the flip side I was in an emotionally abusive relationship for 2 years with my ex and everyone could see it, but nobody said anything so I can see why she’s not keeping quiet now even though it’s not the same by far …
I feel like piggy in the middle, my sister won’t apologise and my partner is refusing to have anything to do with her! We are very close!
Not sure what to do 😕
