Not baby related but my poor elderly neighbour has just passed away 😞 he has no family or friends and always has refused help. Weve taken him xmas dinners, food, offered him help ect and he would never accept any help. Last week friday he fell in the communal hallway and couldnt get up and my partner helped him up, he walked off as though nothing had happened. I contacted adult social care and they were going to send someone out. He used to be a rev at a church and they paid his rent but in the 4 years ive lived here ive never seen anyone visit him. He drunk lots and smoked constantly our communal hallway always smelt. The last 3 days weve smelt something odd and my partner went in today (he leaves his door on the latch as he struggles to find his keys) and he was on the floor passed away 😢 so incredibly sad. We contacted police and the body has now been removed, my question is who do we contact now? The smell is horrendous and theres flies coming in and out constantly. I dont have a number for the landlord as the letting agent deals with everything and obviously they arent open at weekends. We live above him so obviously its quite distressing.
