Can i please get a private post
So weve gone round to my mums house for christmas dinner and of course shes done the whole oh look santa left some presents here for you routine and wheels out a bike for my 7 year old which would be absolutely amazing except the bike is covered in bright pink flowers and butterflies and my 7 year old is a boy who absolutely refuses to play with anything he considers girly so obviously im absolutely furious, not cos its got pink on it as such more that shes convinced him santa has got it him which has now led to the whole “but santa knows i hate pink why would he get it me?” Questions and a rather upset child. How on earth am i supposed to explain this to him without completely ruining the magic of christmas.. ive tried the whole pink isnt just for girls trick but hes having none of it
