Can I have a pp please I have my c section booked for a week tomorrow and really started to freak out can I hear some positive story’s I had a c section 7 years ago was an emergency as my daughter stopped growing so I’m hoping it will be completely different now it’s planned x

  • I ended up having a c section not emergency I had a few problems with baby so changed my plans to have a c section and it was fine everyone was lovely in there all talked to me though out and was not a horrible experience I would do it all again if I need to feel free to inbox me if you want to talk x

  • Honestly, it’s the recovery that’s the hardest. The epidural is painless. Honestly you feel nothing. Rummaging around is all you feel. It’s hard to get up afterwards but you’ll get there. Don’t worry, you’ll be in safe hands!

  • I had 1 emergency and 1 planned. The 2nd far easier as I hadn’t laboured for 2 days. Recovered so quick the second time. Was driving within 3 weeks too 😊xx

  • My planned c section was lovely didn’t feel a thing. Docs and nurses put me at ease. did feel sick tho .but b4 I knew it I had a daughter.id def have a c section again.this was my 1st baby so was very nervous.but couldn’t fault anything.

  • I’ve had 3 elective and 1 emergency and elective is so so different! My advice would be to eat healthy this last week, take all the advice you can, rest well and push yourself to get up and about as quick as possible but obviously don’t over do it and that will make it all the easier 😘😘 xx

  • I had emergency with my first was so sore and was traumatic. 2nd planned and was so much easier and better not as sore after!! Due 3rd baby next week booked in for Monday for planned section and not worried at all. Hope you get on well x

  • Had to have an emergency c section as she got stuck in my cervix, I honestly didn’t know they had cut me open until they said so and with that they pulled her out and that was it took them longer to stitch me back up, recovery I didn’t like x
