Can I have a PPP? My partner and I are expecting a baby in July, and we are both really pleased. I did have post natal depression badly with my first, but am now on very low dose of anti depressants. Recently we have had a few little rows about things as couples do when they get tired. Each time my depression is brought up as being the problem, but I don’t fully think it is the problem, and feel it’s an easy way out for him to blame it on that. Has anyone experienced anything similar and may be able to give me some advice please on how to discuss my feelings calmly with him? Thanks x

  • as some1 who suffered depression (not exact same) but we arnt aware of say body expressions or face expressions or evan tone of voice and can come across wrong and problem is with mental illness you dont know what its like when you aint had it we are like enigmas and people can try ad help but feel like they hitting a brick wall as we dont fully show how pleased we are and can make people feel helpless ad can be draining for them maybe find some videos about PND and sit him down and watch together might help him understand more
