I have had the worst news ever this week, that my darling sister is die ing from cancer!! She’s 47. How do I tell my children that their auntie won’t be around to see them growing up., my youngest is only 20 months. We are very close she’s my best friend and we live round the corner from each other. My heart is breaking.
She took ill in June with bad stomachs, bloating and pain. In July she went the docs and had bloods done and had a scan, which picked up a tumour in her small intestine and on her liver, it’s called nets cancer that she has. She’s had treatment which has worked on her liver, but not the other, so they have said, they can’t do anything as she’s very poorly with blood clots and her bloods aren’t always right, which stops her having the treatment.
How do you cope with something like this, as don’t know if I can.

I had to explain to my 3yr daughter that her grandad wasn’t going to be here much longer a wk at the most, so to help her i got books from the library to explain that he was very ill and was going to a better place up in the sky. Now 6 months, nearly everyday she will speak about him. People are shocked at how much she understands, I’m so proud of how she has coped with it all. Hope this has helped a little, Sorry to hear your sad news just make lots of memories while you can 😘 x
How awful, my sister is my best friend we are so close I can’t imagine having to go through something like this it would devastate me 😢 I lost my grandad in June this year to cancer and I was heartbroken I still am don’t think I’ll ever get over loosing him,
Only advice I have is to cherish the time you have left with her xx
This was something I had to do telling my children their dad was poorly and then in January trying to tell a 3 yr old 2yr old and a baby that daddy had gone to be an angel… it’s the hardest thing in the world but u will find the words and a way x
Get some cannabis oil…..read up on it and try it….got nothing to lose x
