Could I have a ppp? How would other mums react? Our 17 month old was sleeping in our bed last night as she wouldn’t settle, think she had tummy ache. It got to 1 in the morning and my partner had enough or being kicked in the head so he tried to put her in her cot and with that she screamed. He started getting mad saying ‘what a little bastard’ ‘what a spoilt twat she’s turning into’ I was mortified! He told me he was off to sleep downstairs and that I could sort her. He was downstairs for a while of 10 mins before he came back up and got back into bed with both of us.

My honest opinion if anyone he sounds like s complete dickhead. She’s still a baby ffs. If anyone spoke to my son like that, Dad or no Dad they’d be told to fuck off out the door. I mean if he’s getting bad tempered like that when you’re around god knows what he’d be like left alone with her..
If it’s happened just the once what’s the issue. Your partner needs to learn to deal with his anger and frustration better.
