Hey guys can i have a pp please? Id like some advice if possible.
I just got told by my brother and his gf that they have organised a baby shower for me for this eve! It was a surprise but they had to tell me as they need me to get ready etc for a certain time. They said theyve invited my good friend and also a few others . But my good friend has said she may not come but will see. So they asked her to plz let them know yes or no for numbers. She said still not sure as has a sickness bug since two weeks ago and wont know until she finishes work.. i just found it very strange because shes telling me other things like its not a bug as drs have said its not… and shes been out for dinner a few times this week with her boyfriend and was also out last weekend until early hours of the morning… so if she can do other bits why is she saying she isnt sure about coming tonight? I dont really know how to feel. But i thought to wait and see what she does first and then decide what to say if need be. I do know she wants a baby as well so it could be that but i still dont see why she cant show up for even half an hour.. thought friends were meant to support each other. I know it might be hard. I had a mc prev and found it hard to be around pregnant people. I worked at a surgery and saw them everyday but i still didnt shut myself away as hard as it was… am i wrong to feel like i do? She said she wants to take a preg test on the weekend and cant wait to see then make a remark about our babies playing together. I just feel though that shes not so bothered because im preg and she isnt right now but if she is, then she will be around me and want to do more with me. But i feel like that isnt fair and its not something you pick and choose… youre either there for each other properly or not at all. X
