Hi can I have a private post please,
My child is 2 and she is an absolute pain at sleeping. She’s never slept through the night, but I’m really in need of some help now as I’m at my whitz end, it’s causing problems between me and my partner too. She doesn’t settle with out a cuddle which is fine, I love a cuddle before bed. But she only ever settles with me, she only ever wants me, she doesn’t sleep out because she screams for me, she doesn’t even stay at her grandparents house for longer than an hour with out having a meltdown for me. She’s now waking up 4/5 times a night and literally waits in bed and shouts mummy and waits for me, she used to go straight down and then me sneak out and hey back in bed, but now she’s waking up at 12am at night and screaming the house down to go downstairs. Regardless of weather I try her in our bed she wants to go downstairs. I then take her downstairs and she doesn’t go back down again till anything around 4-6am, it’s driving me nuts it’s every other night now! My partner starts back to work next week as he’s 3 weeks off over the Christmas period, he gets so grumpy if she wakes in the night and he’s working, but he doesn’t like hearing here cry, he gets very stressed 😩 can anyone help has anyone else been through this ? Please 😬
