Anon pls, its is also a bit long. Ive been with my partner for almost two years coming up middle of august. We have had our fair share of ups and downs, alot of the times ive been the one thats hurt. I have a son who is turning 9 and hes seen his mummy cry a bit and now dislikes my partner. I dont know what to do? I love them both very much , my son more without a doubt. I have spoken to my son about it and asked his reasons why and he says it is because he doesnt like the way my partner treats me at times and he feels my partner may take me away from him. I reassure him constantly that is not what is happening and he will always be my number one but also ask him doesnt mum deserve to be happy as well? My partner is good with kids and as a couple of his own and we all get on well or at least my son just does it for the sake of mummy. Ive tried explaining that there will be a time in his life where he will make decisions that i wont agree with but i just have to let ut be. How do i show my son or help him to understand that mummy having a partner doesnt mean he will lose me but we are creating a family together with another if that makes sense 😊 and i will always be his mummy…help 😊 hope ive explained this properly 😊
