Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I had a one and a half year relationship with my partner. I was on the pill and was told I couldn’t conceive without help due to my tubes being blocked. I was told this after having my appendix taken out and i had internal investigations. I’m 22 and my partner 31. I fell pregnant which was a massive shock. We had been looking to buy a house he was buying it due to better credit score I would pay half the mortgage rent ect like I had been doing for the past year in our rented flat. We went on lots of holiday spent alot of time together despite him working away. As soon as I fell pregnant he went completely sour. Went and bought a house with the advice of his mum without taking me. Told me to get rid of the baby as he didn’t want it. He said we could make things work living Separate. So I got myself a small 3 bed house by my family, he now lives around 20miles from me as he lives near his family. I have ended the relationship because he is out on holidays with his mates spending well in the thousands. I was in hospital and he didn’t even message to see if I’m ok. He says he will be there for the baby despite what happens with us. But I’m staying single I do not want the hassle being pregnant getting upset not knowing whether I’m coming or going. I’m scared of being a single parent. I’m scared of what’s going to happen and have I made he right decision for me and my baby. How do you single parents manage? I do have a very supportive family but I miss the baby’s dad I miss how it use to be. But I have to put my baby before myself and my feelings and I feel this is the right decision as the baby’s dad just isn’t growing up. I might add he likes to drink and party alot. I don’t think he will ever change to being family orientated x
