Asking for a friend private message please.

A friend has just been sacked last week and at the same sort of time been kicked out his place that he was living with his partner and baby.
He’s got no family to go to, what I was wondering he has a little bit of money to live for two months roughly(savings). Has also been applying for jobs and is wanting to work asap!
If anyone has advice as to where he could go and live that wouldnt want him to have a job straight away (work reference) that he could maybe prove by a bank statement that he can afford it until he’s got a job and permanent regular money coming in.
I have no idea, I said to go to citizens advice but it’s such a long wait for appointments. He stayed at a hotel the first night and on a friends sofa, but won’t be permanent

Can I add he drives but hasn’t got a car ATM.
Any advice at all please?
