Basically my husband meet my best friends husband at the shop the other day they had normal chat and my husband asked him wot he was doing today and his reply was “going to my mates to watch the football, but don’t tell her I told her I was working”
I really don’t know wot to do, I really won’t to tell her as a think she should know he’s lying to her, but I really don’t won’t to cause trouble between them ( she has 2 kids with him and is pregnant with there third and already have a good few problems in there relationship ) and I don’t won’t to cause trouble between us as I would hate to fall out with her and we do things together with both our family’s all the time and I guess her husband would know it came from mine and it would obviously cause a filling out with them !!
Guess I’m just asking for advice as to a way a could go about it with out causing trouble ?? Or wot people think I should do ?? Iv played about with it in my head for days and just don’t know wot to do

Yous are all deluded. It’s a genuine thing for her to question what to do in this situation. It’s her best friend and doesn’t matter if it’s football with mates or a strip club, hes still fucking lying to his Mrs while she sits at home pregnant and caring for 2 kids thinking he’s working meanwhile he’s off having fun. Wonder when the last time she got a break was. And she’s not being a busy body or sticking her nose in… he’s a lying twat.
Well I’m sorry but I would tell her but I wouldn’t say it came from my husband. If it was the other way round wouldn’t you want to know if your partner was lying to you? If he’s lying about that then what else is he lying about. I hate liars! I fell out with my best friend because she knew my ex partner was lying to me and as a friend I expected her to tell me. Wouldn’t you want better for your friend?
To be fair if shes a woman that would lecture him on goin to watch the footie with his mates he will tell little lies like this just so he can have some me time its harmless
Leave it. It’s a harmless thing and he probably just wants a hour to watch some football with his mates on the sly. Could be much worse things he’s lying about.
