Can I get a post please- I need some mums opinions, bare with me it might be long. So basically I’ve got a son, I had him when I was 15 he’s going to be 5 in November, my sisters got him as I got him taken from me when he was 2 months. Family know he’s mine but everyone else thinks he’s my sisters. I got him taken from me as I went through sexual exploitation when I was young and turned to drink and drugs to deal with it. I’ve lived away from my family for the past 2 years and my sister wouldn’t let me see him, I was in an abusive marriage which I’ve now left, I’ve been back home for nearly 6 months now and she still won’t let me see my son. I’ve proved to my family I can cope with everything, I’ve got a stable job and I’m now in a stable relationship, I want nothing more to get my son back, but she won’t let me! I really want to tell him im his real mum but I don’t want to mess with him? How do I get my sister to let me see him? I’m in contact with social services but they’re not really doing a lot. –

This was my original post a few months ago, an update for you all, I’ve fought as hard as I can, and I’ve got to see my son today, we spent and hour together supervised by my sister, it was amazing, al though it broke my heart to hear him call my sister mum and me by my name, I loved seeing him, he gave me a massive hug when he went and told me he can’t wait to see me again. Basically where im going with this, I’m now torn whether to tell him I’m his mum, my sister said she just wants him to be happy, but I don’t want to shatter him, but I don’t think I could live with him thinking I’m his auntie, I’m so torn
