Can I get a private post please.

I posted on here last week about taking my partners children on holiday a d that we was thinking about no because of their behaviour towards us and was called all the names under the sun by some people on here. Well we took them with us and the holiday was a disaster. So much so to the point where on the Wednesday we packed our cases and where heading home, we didn’t and we stayed but we came home after dropping them off so emotionally drained. We got no thankyou, no hugs, no kisses… all holiday we was having to pick them up on saying their pleases and thankyou, to say hello to us, ask for thing nicely. We sat them down and spoke to them and explained that they could what they wanted if they asked nicely which call us whatever but there is nothing wrong with trying to bring your children up with mannors.
Anyway on arriving home we messaged their mum and her partner to ask them about all of us sitting down the discuss and they are not bothered about doing that at all. We don’t know what to do now as my partner isn’t normally very emotional, he bottles everything up but when he is telling his kids he loves them and they just stare at him.. it made him cry. Please do not comment if you have nothing nice to say as we need advice from people not to be atacked
