Can I have a post please
Hi need some advice sorry this is a long one I’m 36 weeks pregnant with my rainbow he has been a really big baby from the beginning we have just had our last growth scan an he’s estimated at 9lb 9oz my consultant has given me 2 options I either get induced at 39 weeks or have an elective c section at 39 weeks because of his size they don’t want to let me go full term but she was pushing me to go for a c section practically trying to force me to agree on the spot I really don’t want a c section but petrified that something will go wrong because of how big he is if I wait to be induced at 39 weeks I have also had a lot of reduced movements the last few days an had to go in an be monitored but she refused to even talk about inducing me early because of the dangers of that an just keeps saying no one will do anything for me before 39 weeks as it’s to early do you think I should get a second opinion or what as it is driving me crazy with anxiety already an it’s only been a few hours an she’s given me 2 weeks to make a choice?

  • I’d probably go for a csection but that’s me everyone else is different I wouldn’t fancy pushing a baby out that size of my foo šŸ™ˆ, u could have a pretty good tear if it dosent go to plan when pushing ask of the pros and cons of going natural x

  • Don’t be pushed into something u don’t feel comfortable about… I was never told I was carrying big and my 1st born was 9lb 12 1/2! Whatever there sizes comes a risk and they all still hurt šŸ™ˆ good luck chick xx

  • They say the bigger the baby there easier to have, not sure how true it is but iv had 3 babies and my biggest 8lb 12 was easier then the others and my smallest was 6lb 5 x
