Can I have a post please.
I know I’ll probably get quite a bit of abuse for this and be called a f***ing idiot.. but..
Do you have to have a smear test? I don’t want one!
I got a letter about 7 months ago now asking me to contact my doctors to schedule one, I’m yet to do this!
I received another letter last week about it.
For some reason I’m petrified to do this, not sure if it’s the actual procedure I’m worried about or the results. As much as I know how much I need to do this and how important they are, I just can’t.
Every time I go past the doctors, I consider going in to make an appointment but get really panicked, I get hot, start sweating and get short of breath. It’s the same if I think about calling so I put it off but I’ve done this for months now and have just avoided it.
I keep telling myself if something was wrong surely I’d know.

The letter states I don’t have to have one and I don’t want one but know I should really.
Can anyone tell me what it’s like
