Can I have a post please.. long story but I have been with my partner 5 years. When we met she had a child. I have brought that child up as my own for all these years. Her biological dad has now walked on the scene. Quite complicated but we have agreed to let him be a part of our daughters life. We have planned to meet at a softplay centre tomorrow and I think It has just hit me that I need to share my the little girl I see as my daughter with someone who has never been there. I know we’re doing the right thing but now my partner had basically finished our relationship over me being upset about all this. How do I make her see I’m just scared and worried. She has reassured me that o will never be less of a parent but it’s hard. Really hard. Think I just need some advice. I don’t want to lose my partner or my daughter.
